Ideal for use with older flash units that cannot be directly attached to the camera but still useful as "fill in" flash units this slave unit attaches to the flashgun by means of a hotshoe socket. The slave unit can then be placed in a strategic position with the flash unit in range of the trigger light source. It can be left free standing or can be mounted to a tripod or stand using the 1/4" UNC thread in the base of the slave unit. This slave unit is more limited in its possitioning as there is no cable link option to the flash unit so the sensor has to be sited with the flash unit.
For more information on slave units see the Slave Units section on the Techno page.

Slave Unit Specifications:

Effective Range: 10 to 20 Meters depending on light conditions & flash power.
Effective Angle: 120° to light source, depending on light conditions & flash power.
Trigger Type: Photo electric cell switch.
Flash Connection: Hot shoe.
Unit Dimensions: 26mm x 35mm x 40mm.
Cell Dimensions: 16mm diameter.
